For starters, I don't believe in god. At least, not the catholic interpretation of god. Though I can acknowledge  that perhaps there might be something higher, but only perhaps. I am a skeptic, but not only that. I also just love to challenge the world, even if something is correct. I like to think different. To think about the different possibilities and to try and figure out what others could not. My love for the "gods" so to speak comes mostly from every other god that's not the christian god, or any god that is a derivative of Christianity. My favorite gods would be the greek and roman gods. Jupiter and Zues. Hermes and Mercury. Aphrodite and Venus. They are gods, though they themselves are not all powerful. They are not detached from feelings and often indulge themselves in very "human" actions. So you wouldn't be wrong in saying that the greek and roman gods would be better categorized as humans with extraordinary abilities, and not so much as gods, seeing as the aren't immortal but can be killed and have been killed before in the great war against the titans, which are "gods" even older than they themselves. Their fathers and such. Also the greek gods can be put under the category of your (stereotypical) redneck seeing as all of them where brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts. YET the roman gods, a branch of the greek gods, are just as lustful yet much more violent than there predecessors . Other "gods" that intrigue me would are the Nordic, Viking, and also the satanic "religion" for how can some one take a good person, in his own way, and make him seem so terrible. Satan (Lucifer, the dark one, whatever) is supposed to be an angel, not some evil dark manifestation who governs over hell, which, by the way, was made by the supposedly greatest good ever known to man kind. A god of ultimate benevolence, always forgiving (which if that were true, there wouldn't be a need for hell, now would there) and omnipotent (meaning he knows all, past, present and future) AND while being omnipotent, loving and so supposedly kind, he lets the world run with disease, let the people suffer and have dips hits running around killing people. Now! The reason I am touching so roughly this particular religion is do to the fact that I am Hispanic, and no to stereotype Hispanics but yes, EVERY one of  us (at least if you live in the place of your ethnicity) is taught some type of catholic religion. I speak from experience, and from actual facts. But, back to my topic at hand. The religions without gods (that I know of). Zen. More a way of life, practiced by most Japanese and the "religion" of the samurai. Ancestor worship (If this has a name, please comment below and tell me) that the Chinese and the Japanese practice. My personal favorites would be Buddhism, and other religions that have to do with reincarnation, such as Hinduism and Jainism simply because you are reincarnated in accordance to how you acted or how you were in a previous life. A sense of karma and such but with it being your whole life and not the little things you do (but obviously if u do enough little things, your next life wont be as good as it could be) welp… I think that concludes my rant and I think I sufficiently got this topic off my chest. I could keep going but im getting a migraine and my eyes are starting to hurt ^^; thank you kindly if u read all this and I am sorry for wasting ur time xD
